Does feel like it.
There is an upside when these great, long-lived artists move on:
They leave behind a musical legacy that you can re-live, often in remixes and remasters, in ways that feel like the very first time.
Bob Dylan's of an age but still alive, and I'm pre-emptying things by Starting Over with him.

Charl, I know what you mean.....regarding Dylan and the like, I almost anticipate news about the demise of ...for example, any living member of the Rolling Stones, Dylan, Paul Simon etc.
Don't mean to be morbid.

I must admit that more than once in a while I remind/warn myself that there could be news when I wake up. I have an obsession with Linda Ronstadt, who has been unwell for a long time now, but I still hope that she outlives me.
