I didn't want to add more to the screenshot thread that included JK's book collection, so Ill start this one.
I will add JK's photo into here later on.

Anyway, here is my contribution...shelf by shelf....sorry they are so big.




And this is Simon H's stuff (I asked him to send me some pics) his collection also includes Armour, so there may be a cross over.

SP, we should combine our printed matter and open a library...just a thought

It may seem a strange moment to announce this:
I have no books on aircraft.
Not. One.
There is minimalist, and then there is minimalist with a 1000 Mb/s fibre connection.

I do admire your collective collections though, not sure who has bragging rights there

I have quite a lot of real books, mainly railway stuff but some aviation too, so many that any new purchase raised concerns about the permanence of the loungeroom floor. Some years back I got work at Condamine, a 4 hr drive away, so I only commuted there every other weekend to the company house I was staying in. Fortunately there was good internet out there and I had a tablet which I could load up with electronic books, weighing nothing. Now there are about 400 titles, many of them duplicates of real books, so I should really cull a lot of the proper ones. That is difficult because I just cannot throw a book away until it is literally falling apart. Very few of my best transport books are available in ebook form, so they will be kept, regardless.

SP, I've had some railway tracks put in to support the weight.

Age must catching up with me, I forgot to mention the set of drawers that hold all my Scale Plans, Top Drawings and Mushroom Single books..not many, probably another 200...I think
