Is it possible to connect my ps2 to my pc and record videos on Gran Turismo 4? I have seen videos on Youtube and most people suggest something like This. Would it work if i used this and then Fraps on my comp to record videos? GT4 has suddenly become fun again after i discovered it was possible to Drift! :D Obviously I want to show off my skills on Youtube :D

Any help appreciated.

Ahh yes, drifting.... possibly the best part of any racing game

Anyways, I know one easy way of doing it, but you will have to buy some stuff
1. A Tv tuner card, with RCA/AV inputs/ or a VIVO video card with video input plugs
2. RCA cables for your PS2 (it should have some)

Using this, you should be able to connect your ps2 to your computer , then have fraps recording it. If you cant get fraps to record it, there should be some other screen capturing video recorder or something.

Have a look through http://www.trademe.co.nz/browse/searchresu...rder=expiry_asc

So roughly how much will this cost? And will I just run my ps2 on my Comp monitor, so I don't have to worry about being near a tv?

It should cost around $50 including shipping. It will run through your computer, with the included software, so it will be on your monitor. No tv needed. Ive never tried it before though, so I dont know if it would work. Check with your local computer shop

That looks good. I would ask on the auction if it would work with a playstation 2, just to be sure.

It looks like it should work... as apparently you can plug in AV gear like DVD and/or VCR players... and it should feed it to your PC... plus you get the benefit of being able to connect a satellite dish and watch freeview TV ;)
