Pretty much heres what I want you to do. (it wont take a sec-if you are fast), in order to see everyones difference between their typing/writing/anything else speed, for a school project
Type/write the following, and time yourself: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs.
I will start:
Txting: 31s
Pen and paper: 16s
Ipod touch keyboard: 7s
PC Keyboard: 4s

Now you go. It might seem pointless, but it is very useful to me. Most importantly, I would like the computer keyboard, and writing, but the more the merrier!
Cheers
BB

Wingman stole my thunder...again
Mine goes:
Txting: There is no way on earth I would txt anything more than OK on a cellphone. This is what Web2txt is for.
Pen and paper: No pen, I scanned my signature years ago and can no longer write my name.
Ipod touch keyboard: I wish, but the iPod Classic refuses to die
PC Keyboard: <Copy>...<Paste>
Sorry BB as you can see questionnaires like this have to take into account lifestyle habits too.

:)
Yes, I just checked my sent txts over the last week. 'OK' = 8; 'YES' = 2; 'FINE' = 1; 'YES FINE' = 1 (I was probably feeling chatty, since 'ok' would do...)
I have a friend who always asks if I can send a txt for her, and then launches into a monologue. I ALWAYS have to explain my 2-word rule.
...and since I've moved to printed labels on scenery CD packages, I get less returned 'unreadable address':) If God had meant for us to write, he wouldn't have given us computers.

well no time for that now but last week it took me 1/2 an hour to write 800 or so words for English (but messily)

text (using predictive) 18 seconds
pen and paper (messy, but then I went to uni and took notes all day) 11 seconds
typing (used to type on a computer all day for work) 9 seconds

PC Keyboard: 4 secs
Text: 12 secs (my P990i has a thumboard ;) )
Pen+Paper (as fast as possible): 10 secs (I would classify it as 'legible')
Pen+Paper (normal speed): 15 secs
