Holy c**P! It's GODZILLA, n, due to international copy right its not Godzilla. But still lets run like it is Godzilla!
Don't ask me why I bothered to type that

Hey, that's not just any white car.. New Skyline GT-R. 0-100 in about 3.5 secs. About the only supercar I'd have in NZ, the others are a waste of money for our roads. These things are great, $100,000 is a bargain for such a fast car!

What's with most cars and these big ugly mag wheels now? I'd rather have an Ariel Atom than that, and it's about $24,000 cheaper.Peppermint wrote:QUOTE (Peppermint @ Jun 4 2008, 08:31 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>That's one really ugly car! It looks.. purposeful![]()
Automatic? No. F1 Style Sports Shift more like. The way of the future!
In an Atom, you're buggered:
In the Rain
In a crash
Anywhere there's bird life (poopie)
In the cold
Oh, and the Atom has big 'ugly' mag wheels too![]()
I like the R35's styling (and the fact that it would kill absolutely anything on NZ soil).

Yeah, but I'd definitely find racing that around the track at Manfield (or over the Takaka Hill) more enjoyable than flying a 172

They don't have the same "after-market add-on" look that is typical of anything driven by boy racers today. I'm not sure if they are the stock wheels or not. Does anyone know? If they are add-ons then they have been chosen by somebody with taste for once in my opinion.
Tiptronic gears are superb to drive once you get used to them. There's no way you could shift gears as fast as that in a pure manual.
My only qualm with it is the Ferrari-wannabe looking rear end, and judging by its performance I'd say that's all most people would be seeing.
Yep they're the stock wheels. I really like them too![]()
GTRs have always had Round tail lights (which is where the Ferrari hints come from I reckon), and I quite like the rear. Not Beautiful, but purposeful and menacing, as with the rest of the car. I love the Quad exhausts

Sshh, don't tell but I like it too. The only reason I cited it as a qualm was that some might dismiss the whole car as being a copycat simply because of the rear end. Motoring is full of such irrational types, I've found. But yeah, I like it.

Yea I would have one in my garage alongside the Jaguar XF sedan for when I feel like cruising. I doubt it will sell at $100k as others on Trademe have sold around the $125k - $140k mark. Saw a black GTR in Tauranga about two months ago.

$100k + whatever it costs to ship back to Japan to service as no-one here could do it yet

Not bad in black either, but way better in silver/gray
