owww man so painful watching such an awesome plane such an f-14 parked up an probably wont fly for a few years time or it could go to the grate aeroplane graveyard in the sky thanks for sharring them with us.

Yeah - we have not seen the last of Upper Surface Blown aerodynamics.
It's a very elegant solution to STOL, and just a materials science problem to be solved.

I see 2 VXE6 LC130s , ..And ... due their age , it is impressive to still see the YC14/15 still complete! .. reason why? prototypes yes ... maybe the concept for a lighter turbofan medium transport , the DC6/7 .. yeah of course .... parts mean CATCHING! $...... but the U16 wow .. still lives ... thanx lovely photos

There's a really good freeware photoreal scenery of Tucson on avsim somewhere, which covers the mass graveyard where you Dad has taken pictures of. Once you see it from the air, you realize the scale of this place- massive:
