No one seems to have mentioned this yet, but during our transfer, Airliners.net also went through a bit of a revamp. Their frontpage looks very different now:

What does everyone think? Better or worse?

Hmm, personally I prefer the old one at the moment, but I guess it will be alright once I get used to it :)

Don't care really, a.net is still a.net no matter how it looks

I'll get used to it, it looks more modern now, and not so similar to the multitude of other aviation photo websites that all use the same basic layout. The only thing I'm not liking at the moment is that it seems they haven't fully finished updating it - a few sections of the site don't appear to be working correctly at the moment. I'm sure they'll sort it out soon though.

It just needs getting used to. It's pretty good though.

The new youtube video player is annoying though! Can't pause them before they start playing, can't go to an exact bit on the video etc.

Doesn't mind me one little bit at all but.
I suppose the new look makes it more welcoming an informing.

I guess it is ok but i prefered the previous layout ;)
It is the content that matters. It will slowly grow on me.
It was like when Trade Me changed a few months ago. I didn't like it at first but now I really like it.
It will just take time.

Cheers
Daniel

I don't particularly like it, and it's got some technical and usability issues.
I much preferred the old one, which had a sense of class or something about it.

I wonder how much effort actually went into this new layout, because it doesn't really line up - look at "Top 5 of the Last 24 Hours" and "Top Videos", which are right next to each other. It would look better if the top of the boxes lined up - but they don't.
It also doesn't follow a decent 'grid' and it doesn't have very good flow and is a bit cluttered. I could go on for hours...

A.Net's been going downhill since Demand Media took them over, but we/I will get used to it.

Yeah I saw it about 2/3 weeks ago. It needs getting used to but its more interactive and more modern. I like it.
