Hi Folks,

I've found myself caught short tomorrow night. I'm coming to ChCh to pick up a new ute (wrote off the last one - long story!) but my usual accomodation and wheel have fallen through. Normally I'd just get a motel or something but I can't afford it this time around - paying excess on crash!

Does anyone have a couch that I could crash on tomorrow night? I'm coming in to CHCH at about 10PM via Atomic Shuttles and looking to crash somewhere in Ricarrton so I can get to the rail yards in the AM.

33y old non-smoker with own sleeping bag, no food needed. 0276 404 246 during day tomorrow - out tonight.

Otherwise does anyone know if you can camp in hagley park without getting too busted ;)

What about the backpackers?
There is a few good central city backpackers in CHC. They are pretty cheap.
Otherwise you could stay in the airport overnight if it is open :P

Cheers
Daniel

I was lucky enough that my bus got in about an hour early which meant that I had a bit of extra time to catch up with Ian. Thanks for your hospitality Ian, it was greatly appreciated. Ian has one of the greatest aviation libraries I think I've ever seen and I managed to get my hands on FSX for the first time.

I really enjoy catching up with sim guys, I've had the chance to catch up with a few from these forums and others over the years. What would really be awesome would be a flight sim conference.......
