Hi everyone
I was wondering what type of scanner everyone uses as I am thinking of buying one. Does anyone use the UBC-92XLT? Or this one?Is it worth buying a fairly expensive one or just a cheaper older one that works? Thanks

Long as you can hear what you need to hear, you'll be fine

The little Maycom should do the trick nicely

Head on down to Harvey Norman... We have 3 Canon MP210's in the house (one for the flatmate, one for the wife and one for me) Great little printer/scanner combo and they only set you back about $40

That said, I think we got all three for the price of one since wifey used to work there...

Whoops sorry, I meant radio scanner!

Radio scanner, not imaging scanner I think ;)

As for scanners, I have the Maycom AR-108 I think (it's the TradeMe one). I think it's pretty good really.
I've got no idea about the Uniden stuff, but quite a few people on here have Uniden's scanners.

LOL too many things going on at once... I even followed the trademe link - guess thats what happens when you're re-installing an imaging scanner on one computer and typing in a forum on the other
