I am working on a sig and want to link certain parts of the image to different files. My image has tails of my repaints and I want each tail to go where the file is on the net.
Am I explaining ok?
Anyway of doing this with photoshop?
Thanks in advance

Are you kinda talking about a flash or gif animation of grouped images playing each tail paint like 1,2,3,4 etc ??? i dont really understand what you are going on about with linking a sig up to heaps of url pics otherwise ,i would say gif animation is the way to go and you can do that with photoshop i think from what i can remember where each pic will display on a time line for like 30th hundred sec and then the next will display like my avatar smoking or the old hitman one i made with the doors opening ,....
anyway ill stop now to get a clearer picture of what you are doing

I doubt you will be able to create a "proper" imagemap as I doubt the board will support it... But you should be able to create one manually....

Basically, create however many pics you need (eg. 3), then link each one to the file/website you want and then put them all in your sig without putting any line breaks in... you just need to make sure they're all the same height... and probably best if they are rectangular... so they look like one continuous pic smile.gif

here is one I just made up...

the code to do this is:

Code: Select all

Note how it is all run together... if you put line breaks in (ie. press enter), so each entry is on a new line, it will end up putting them down the page:

Code: Select all

have fun... I am now expecting to see an explosion of fancy sig's now that I have shown everyone how to do this rolleyes.gif

After seeing Alex's first post I thought wow, I can't do this!!1!
I'll try what HCP was suggested. I was looking at that but in one pic but actually seeing them as individual pictures made me realise it is easier to add if I want to.
Thanks all

Yeah... unfortunately, within the constraints of the forum, you sometimes have to think a little outside the box and do things in a slightly more complicated manner...

luckily(? dry.gif), I have spent the last 3 1/2 years having to come up with solutions like this in my day to day job... but that is what happens when your job is a company 'dirty little secret'/'elephant in the corner that no one talks about'... ninja.gif
