i bought something off trademe this morning, and they sent their payment instructions and i paid them and sent them my delivery address. Now i was just looking at the auction, and it says the members been disabled. Do I have anything to worry about? Im guessing it should work out fine because they had 15/15 happy feedbacks and they were address verified and they had sold much more expensive items than this in the past.
But do I have anything to worry about?

I would honestly be asking the trademe team and not any of us that question its there business to know how to answer that question and not ours ..they would be happy to answer that with a quick email no doubt

Maybe trademe banned them because someone else may have a 'similar password and details'? Happened to me, and the account they reckon was mine I'd never heard of. If you do have to deal with trademe, I hope you have more patience with them than I did....or at least get someone who's willing to listen to your side.
But, if the person had 15/15 happy feedback, I'd say you have nothing to worry about, as long as you have their email, and a receipt saying you deposited money it should be all ok.

yeah it all worked out fine. Their account got closed cause trademe had done the thing where they tthink youve got two accounts and they close it. He told me about this in the email back to him, and said everythings fine, and the trade will ccontinue as normal. Thanks guys
