Mythbusters - aeroplane Hour

A forum for everything else that does not fit into the other categories

For those that missed the first airing, tonight at 2130hrs on Discovery Channel there is a replay of the Mythbusters team attacking some great aviation related urban legends.

Adam and Jamie visit the NASA A340 simulator to test the myth that should an airliners crew be incapacitated, ATC would be able to 'talk' a passenger into successfully landing the aircraft. Meanwhile, Tory, Grant and Carrie take on the sky diving stunts of Point Break (Keep an eye out for the Pacific Aerospace XL-750)! Its one of my all-time favourite episodes!

Best regards,
Mat

Isn't it an A32X Sim? They run FSX on it biggrin.gif

It's an awesome episode!

All of the Airbus cockpits are very similar (commonality?), mostly the difference is just the number of engines. tongue.gif

Was quite interesting, I hadn't seen it before last night. Nice to see the PAC 750 too.
