That harbour you were flying over in Auckland is the Manukau Harbour

that's not the real NZNP, where's the VOR station in the middle of the runway? :P

That is the Manukau harbour and from looking at the screen shot I take it you must have got a " cancel the clark departure, climb runway heading 231 to 10dme ,climb unrestricted to 12thousand ( or whatever level planned) because otherwise the clark departure requires a mandatory left turn at 500ft. B)

nice flight :)

Thanks guys B-) .

Zöltuger: I think this NZNP is from the Maui2004 scenery, which is (possibly) why the VOR station isn't in the middle of the runway

Towerguy: I was actually uncontrolled at the time of departure, so I was flying the standard OT5 departure, seeing as there was no other traffic in the air, and planned altitude was FL160.

Matt :)

Maybe Towerguy assumed you were on the clark departure and not on the OT5 because the OT5 is the one jets usually use? (The AIP says "Jets will be issued a WESTPOINT FIVE departure")

Yep, OT5 is the one that jets normally use, but I decided to fly it on this flight, even though normally it would fly the CLARK departure.

That looks like the stock FS Beechcraft 350. I think you can download the repaint from flightsim.co.nz. winkyy.gif

For NZAA it was just the default scenery with a custom afcad, and for NZNP, it is the Maui 2004 scenery smile.gif
