Hi,
In the moment I have on another test and review-aircraft my hands on. It is the virtualcol Embraer ERJ 170 to 195. It is after some interesting sceneries the first aircraft of this group. All in all it is a good aircraft without nasty habbits and with a simplified FMC and so good to fly for young pilots with little experience and as first Airliner. Something must be done with the optic of the VC and the landing characteristics. But these are minor problems, that can be fixed.

Here are some screens.

These are from my very first flight yesterday. I have used this modell ERJ 170 for a flight from Rome Fiumicino to Malta.

In the meantime I have used all of them for the first time in FS2004. Next week I want to do the same with the version for FS X.

ERJ 170

ERJ 175

ERJ 190

ERJ 195

In the Katergorie between 70 and 120 seats the Embraers are on the market now and it looks, that they are good positioned. They are a little bit smaler as a Boeing 737-600 or an Airbus A 318, modern, fast and economical to fly. And you can fly them all with one type-rating...

I guess the recent/latest fan suit european airports and can accept the cost within high pop areas around airports , Guess NZ will still stay with the turboprop due to low turnaround in pax to offset costs . plane.gif

Yes, this is understandable. The operating costs for a ATR 72 and other Prop-Aircraft are lower and only in High urban areas the Jets may be a sucess. We have in the meantime fuelprices, that are to much for some of the typical regional-flying.

What a lovely looking aircraft. Has this been released yet? Payware or freeware?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Love the 4th shot down- nice work hasegawa!

I recently downloaded the Dreamwings freeware E170 but the model doesn't look as nice as this 'virtualcol' one.

Yes, it is Payware, made by a group named virtualcol, from Colombia. It is their first aircraft after some nice sceneries from Colombia. You can find it as a download from simmarket.

These are some screens from my testflight yesterday in FS 2004 from Reggo di Calaria to Rome Fiumicino. You buy both versions in one set, FS X also.

Look at the Systems-modus, the MAP-Modus is not functional in the VC at this time. And some more textures are welcom in the VC...

But the optic in flight is good, as you can see...

Landing in Rome Fiumicino. The Air One 737 to Lampedusa is waiting...

Ciampino s the smaler airport in Rome. Rome Fiumicino is greater and the main airport. This one is for regional flights and the Low Cost Airlines only.

Summary: All in all it is a good aircraft with a good outside look. In the VC something must be done. The Map and the Plan-display are not in use. The electronic checklists are a wonderful help for pilots with not much experience, but the FMC is simplified, like the one in the eaglesoft Citation X or the CLS DC 10...
At some days after hard work I have no intention to fly the PMDG Boeing 737NG. I want an aircraft, to jump in, klick some switches like in the original aircraft and go... This is such an aircraft. It has more as the Original aircraft from Microsoft, but less as the PMDG Boeing 737NG, an aircraft of milddle complexity for everybody.

From what I can see on the publishers website,
the panel is the freeware one available from AVSIM

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.
