Great stuff mate- will the engines and wingtips automatically be textured with the specific airline we are flying? (Say the Air New Zealand repaint?)- or will we always see the KLM logos?

No need to worry mate - what you said is correct :) The textures, paint etc. will change according to the specific airline you fly. All these codes do is set design eyepoints that tell the FS9 camera where to look. So for example this snippet of wingview code:

VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_EYE=1.900, -1.500, 1.000
VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_DIR=7.000, 0.000, 136.000

..tells the FS9 camera to look to the right at 136 degrees. This is what gives you the view of the right wing (the 6th picture in my screenshots).

The panel folder for the 747-400 that you have simply "feeds" all the different repaints :) Its real simple and easy to tweak as well!

BTW is that a Saitek Evo Force joystick as your avatar pic? If it is and you own one...how is it? Im currently looking for a stick and the Evo Force is on my shortlist hee hee!

Not quite, it is just the basic Cyborg Evo, not the Cyborg Evo Force Feedback joystick. However, I've never owned a force feedback joystick (apparently they reduce performance and drain power from your PC), but the Cyborg is definetly the best joystick I have ever used, with an adjustable and rest to customly mould it to your hand and heaps of buttons to customly program :)

That stick looks ace. Might get it actually. I currently own a very simple Saitek ST90. Was only £12 but its built like a brick and has me firmly in the Saitek camp when it comes to sticks! I've never owned a force-feedback stick either and TBH its not a priority. I just REALLY want a stick that has a throttle lever, lots of customizable buttons and a POV hat switch for all those VC moments! :)
