Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

I am using a program called Screenhunter for screenshots, but it only seems to take screenshots at a fairly low resolution. I have also tried the inbuilt Snipping too with Windows Vista, but it is not as good as the Screenhunter photos.

Does anyone know of a good program that takes high res. screenshots????

smooth landings.

I use Irfanview for Screenshots. I've tried many programes over the years but keep coming back to it. Start it, press C and select what screenshot options you want. It doesn't take up much processing power (that I notice) and you can select the quality output, by file type etc. Using a JPEG format will give you less resolution than other options, try some and compare.

Irfanview also is a handy file resizer, renamer, cropper, effects editor and batch converter. Best part is that it's free.

Check out whether FRAPS will do the job as well (freeware or payware).
