Trying Out Alphasim's Spitfire Over Wellington

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

I finally downloaded Alphasim's freeware Spitfire and decided to take it around for a spin over Welly......The aircraft model is designed well, and flies quite nicely, though I do wish there were more VC animations.

Partway through the flight I decided to shadow a Cessna 208 Amphibian on it's way to the South Island...........

Returning home............

Alphasim's Spitfire is now freeware indeed smile.gif

She flies nicely, lots of power and maneuverability in any situation, a very nice VC - which lends itself quite well to flying from the VC, and a few paint schemes. The only tricky part about flying her is that she is a tad bit touchy on the pitch trim.
