For those interested, this *almost* works in fsx.gif (I had to copy some textures into the root textures folder).

The outside model is great and the 2D pit works (almost). The only real problem is the solid reflections in the VC pit. I thought there was a global .cfg file setting where you could disable these <?>. Easier than trying to re-work someone else's textures.

Looks like it wouldn't take the author too long to create an FSX version winkyy.gif

Maybe I'll post an fsx.gif screenie to prove it works!

No matter the flavour, this is one good looking aircraft.
Now to business...rough cut, this was going to be Sabre on MiG, but turns out there were two of 'em ninja.gif

Yeah...Part one was really shot from the hip, hardly any editing, and you'll notice wing tanks still on etc etc.
I do want to make a nice Sabre on MiG clip, has been on my mind for a long time.
But the danger is you take so much footage and get so finicky, the job gets too big and you lose interest unsure.gif
Video isn't particularly hard - good video is particularly hard...

Awesome shots all round and love that repaint. Two repaints I would like to see are "The Huff" as its the one of the most colourful Sabres.

Another one would be Beauteous Butch II which was flown by Capt. Joseph C McConnell II who was the USAF top Ace (and the all time USAF jet Ace) during the Korean Conflict with 16 Mig kills ...and its the colour scheme of the Sabre displayed here in Tauranga

I'm sure they'll come, this model will attract the top repainters in droves!
Your Butch link is broken, but check out this beautiful model I found while looking

Nice model.

Yea you are right no doubt the repaints will come

Got rid of the link - it was pic of this one here on display at an airbase in Korea. As this picture shows it almost got wiped out by an F-16 crash.
