Fauville - its Zinertech water textures - yea Orca Island is an excellent small scenery - bought it back in May and haven't got it going properly (and never got around to asking on their support forums) until the reinstall.

No probs - yes have to say my sim is runnning a lot better - no more CTDs ( I think never added the FS9.1 update to my last iteration) and also did have some scenery/mesh clashes in some areas.

Night water's looking good...
That's the scenery where the dude at the fuel pump gets up and gives you a wave isn't it?
Very well done as I recall - seen the Orcas jump yet?

Thanks for the comments guys.

I caught a small glimpse of the Orcas - they seem to pop from the sea at the end of runway when I am landing.

I haven't seen a guy wave at me but I haven't really had a chance to look too carefully. I think you might be thinking of Emma. I bought Emma many years ago - incidentially I am having problems reinstalling Emma as Lago does not seem to exist anymore sad.gif - their web site appears to be dead.

Orcas is a great little scenery, and of course you can't stop there, because the entire NW US and Canada beckons laugh.gif
It was here the guy with the newspaper gives you a wave when you amble up to the fuel store:

Ahh yes - have a big chunk of NW USA and a very small bit of Canada (Vancouver +...incidentially I have found a very good freeware scenery site for Ontario - I will post a link when I find it again) ...I am off to have another looksie for the guy with the newspaper

Hell with scenery and water textures like that who needs FSX? I have a copy of FSX, in fact I got it given to me in return for helping Bryan York out with FS2Crew for the PMDG 747. Until now I have never had anything to run it on. With all my amassed scenery and aircraft I am loathe to start all over again.
Some of the FSX screenies I see on here are great, and I get all enthused, and others just look very plastic. Thats without even discussing frame rates.
Maybe a leap of faith is needed (or FS11) smile.gif
Just love that guy waving!
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

My clip is abbreviated...actually, there's this guy sitting at the fuelpump, reading last week's Vancouver Times.
You cruise up to refuel, and after a bit, he looks up, gets up, waves his newspaper, and shouts out: "Shut the f**k up, willya!".
When you shut down, he goes back to reading the paper.
You pump your own gas...

This was a remarkable little scenery when released a few years ago, and is still 100% valid.
