Just occasionally I get lucky with some unexpected sunsets. Had the haze up for this one, and with reduced vis as well, and only a few cirrus clouds around. Came up with some nice effects, so I took a few screenshots to share.......

Almost makes you want to get up there for real.

smooth landings.

Beautiful indeed, thanks for sharing.
Also makes me ask myself: Shoudn't I start my aviation training at last? I've been thinking about it for too long. I shoud ACT instaed of wondering!

Sunsets always look better in flight ... all yours seem to be quite pink HT, is that a custom enviromental setting or texture set you have installed?

Happened to me last night over Dargaville also, throw in some real world weather and it makes for quite an atmospheric screenie:

I cannot remember (the memory goes with age, or else I have been using too many aluminium saucepans) but it was a theme or effect that I selected from FEX. Probably one of the themes that I downloaded, something like smoke haze or dust haze. I think that it is interesting that sometimes now I see clouds and sunsets and say that they look like the simulator, rather than the other way around!
