Hey guys I did this real-world route from Dawson-Whitehorse in the HS748 propjet. One of Britains best designs this is a legendary machine and is built to last. If those engines look familiar to you its because they are the same ones used on the Fokker F-27 & YS-11. The Rolls-Royce Dart. A legend in its own right with their distinctive whine smile.gif

On the climb out of Dawson (YDQ) with the Rolls Royce Darts working hard. The best-sounding propjet engine ever.

ThrottleUp is flying right seat today under the command of Captain GearUp (hes just out of shot)

A smooth ruise flight to Whitehorse (YXY). Great scenery in this part of the world. The forests below look pristine. Must be full of bears ohmy.gif

Stupid weather decides to have some fun of its own and the vis drops as we descend into Whitehorse. Capn' tells me to hit the seatbelt lights. Might get a bit bumpy.

Comin on down trhough the soup, its not that bad actually and the descent turns out to be quite smooth.

Fields getting close, descent checklist complete, oooo Im hungry I cant wait to land and have a big fat burger with curly fries.

Flaps down, Dunlops dangling lets land this crate.

Here we are screaming in on the approach scaring all the wildlife.

ThrottleUp takes it down. Capt. GearUp calls out the numbers.

Almost down. Not a very busy day today.

Touchdown, reverse pitch. Well done propellers you slowed us down ninja.gif

We taxi to our spot and then its engine shut-down checklist complete! After chewing up the air between Dawson & Whitehorse these blades are chilling out for a bit.

An FA has popped the door waiting for the ladder-truck. Welcome to Whitehorse

Thanks for looking, hope you liked smile.gif

yeah amazing he an amazing Chap to talk to , really enjoy,s the younger generation interest in history and the use of the PC to relive the journeys .

Rick only specialize with the British Brand , it is very strange a full blow,n F27 has never been done , with military app,s and course our own NAC come RNZAF and the world use by airline on every continent .
