Andy Copying Paul

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby ardypilot » Thu Dec 18, 2008 10:10 pm

First I copied Zac, and now I'm copying Naki's idea to create a thread of my favorite shots of 2008.

Sorry for the lack of imagination in my topics here folks, but after posting a reply in Charl's 'My Favourite NZ Screenshot of the Year' thread, I realised that I'd only scrolled down through the images beginning with 'A' in my neat little alphabetically ordered screenshot folder when making my decision, and came across a heap more I wish I'd uploaded instead... However, instead of editing up my post, I thought, if Paul can get away with it, then so can I tongue.gif So here is my own version of the 'The Year in Review' or '2008 in FS2004':

The Godzone Ones

And the others.

I've got a very busy few weeks coming up, so these may be the last sceenies I get to post while.
Cheers to everyone for your contribution to NZFF this year and enjoy the holidays! santa_cool.gif

PS. The reason that most of my shots share the same generic low-light / aircraft model close up is because they were taken on my old 2.4Ghz Celaron, not the best the computer in the world. Maybe I'll get a new one for Christmas!

Using the freeware FS Recorder Module- I've written up a tutorial on how to use it here. A very simple tool with fantastic results!

It's the Dreamwings model, vincent_aviation_dash8__q100_zk-vac.zip repaint from avsim, as seen in my Vincent Wanaka Charter thread. (not that you really need to know since you're comp's been out of action since November! tongue.gif )

Sorry to go off on a tangent of the Dreamwings Dash - but I stumbled across a fix for the 'bouncyness' from their official forum the other day; here if anyone needs/wants it. winkyy.gif
