Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Thanks to everyone who entered screenshots into January's competition, the entries were wide and varied; that's for sure...

Voting will be open until the evening of Thursday 5th February, at that time the screenshot with the most votes will be deemed the winner and the author will receive any Captain Sim payware product free of charge.

If you get stuck deciding (like I so often do...) feel free to check out the original competition thread here, or just click on any of the thumbnails to see the full-sized entry. wink.gif

Cheers!

Alex

Thanks for that Ian but the counting isn't over yet but if the outcome stays the same I will be looking at either the FSX 757 or the C130.
If it is the C130 I will need to find a RNZAF repaint for it anyone know where it can be found?

Search "DAX ZEALAND" at avsim and you'll find 4 C130 schemes, and "DAX RNZAF" you'll find the 757.
Good luck for the final result though!

My personal recommendation Doug , The Lockheed C130 Hercules . I considered it so good that after buying for FS9 , the FSX model and with 0ne expansion pack i was in no dou't .. so impressed ! - from long haul to a ground hugger , thats really fun to trying out the old 1963 trick off landing it on a carrier ... best part the FSX carrier moving adds the little extra . As Alister mentioned the paints skins , covering the history's service by David 'Dax' Sweetman , a RAF crewman on the type .

I downloaded the demo of both the 757 and the C130 had a play with them both.
Stuart member dsb has the fs9 CS C130 and I have had a play with it done a bit of low flying through the Kaituna valley to Havelock then back through Linkwater to Picton and back through the Koromiko valley to Woodbourne so it will be the FSX C130.
I was in the Airforce at Woodbourne back in the late 70s early 80s so have traveled on the Hercs also the Andovers and the Devons oh yes and of cause the hueys so I do have a couple of Andovers in my hanger but can only find the Devons for fs9 don't own a huey as I'm not into choppers mostly propeller and turboprop stuff.

Yes I have the Devon in fs9 but it doesn't have a VC and as I am using the triplehead2go and 3 monitors with my FSX I require a VC .
