In RL, not very well known here in NZ but a very good freeware aircraft - heaps of neat features.

Very difficult to land properly - destroyed about 3 Nords before I had success.

Only about 100 Nord 3202s were built and wre used a primary trainer in the French Air Force in the 1960s - had a 260hp Potez engine.

Following your usual impeccable advice Paul I installed the Nord and find it a little beauty........

Two perfect landings in a row and I was starting to feel a bit clever, then number 3...crash.

Looking at it from another angle in replay I saw it lined up pretty good at Seattle Tacoma until the wheels etc sunk into the tarmac.
Haven't seen that for a while.....will try again later and see if a softer landing helps. I wonder if that was your problem..?

Keep on researching Paul, your tips on new addon-ons have saved me hours. biggrin.gif

Hmm I think my problem was a combination of rushing it, an ASI in km/h , a vicious stall this Nord seems to have and not really knowing the stall speed - maybe I should just land with one or two notches of flap instead of full flap

Barry/Ian...I have another great freeware a/c for you -I will get some pics up in a day or two.....

Look forward to the Paul. Further flights in the Nord and I came to the impression that it was far too sensitive in the controls. I have adjusted the
Elevator and Aileron effects in the Aircraft CFG down to 0.5 and this seems to have improved things.
