Took the L=39 up to keep the cobwebs off it, and had some clear skies later in the flight, together with some good light. Such a good aircraft, fun to fly and also a high quality model, so if you have not given it a try then definitely consider it. Lots of small surprises in the L-39, like blacking out if you are not careful with the oxygen or pull too many G's, and if you forget the anti-icing then you will see the results. No autopilot so you have to fly it but a great jet trainer.

Smooth landings.

Great Screens Happy , it amazing how seemingly underpowered the 39 is the wing load with weapons and tanks , you really have to be so careful not to cause yourself a nasty smile.gif

And the engine takes a loooooonnng time to spool up, something like 10 seconds from idle to full, so if you get too low on the approach, ouch.

But great visibility and a great trainer. A nice change from the Cessna!

smooth landings.
