Pouring with rain in CHC at the moment......but down here in VLC land its, as Lou Reed once sang "just a perfect day"

Not sure where i am in these shots...took off from ZQN and went west......somewhere between Glenorcy and Mfn.......no worries, no weather, plenty of gas........

Aaaah ... *classic* ... got to love #1. So simple but stunning. The CS C-130 is really quite old by FS standards - but just goes to show what an achievement it (still) is. There's something curiously "right" about the flight model. I think it's all to do with "suspension of belief" and the CS Herc seems to do it for me. Other add-ons with maybe far more sophisticated systems or externals just don't "do it" for me. Weird, innit?

Thanks Adam.. thumbup1.gif ..you are 100% right about the CS flight model....somehow you can really feel the weight , stability and balance of the old girl. Everything is predictable (most of the time) Its like putting on a pair of your favorite comfortable shoes. Just a notch above good old stick and rudder flying, with a few extras smile.gif
I love it....thanks again for looking......
