A little more refined, cleaner more crisp lines and a touch more detail... Even a shot of a classic Lappy-style approach in there for Noooby smile.gif
All shots have had a default HDR pass over in Photoshop, and a crop if neccessary.

Cheers Ian smile.gif There's more to come - Next on the hit list will be BZA, Matamata's Pawnee.
I'm playing with the idea of recreating SHG for the sim, but that might have to be a rehash of an existing 3D model to deal with the level of modifications that bird had...

Cheers Paul, its J.E.Narcizo's freeware model available at Flightsim.com - Nice flight model, but it's a bit long in the tooth so none of the gauges are supported by FSX... Easily fixed, and the panel itself is photoreal.

Hehe, you need a screenshot of a one wheeled landing to prove that Lappy is flying!
You could do BKS as well, identical to BKG but red instead of blue and I think the wing stripe colours are reversed. Speaking of which, the wing stripes are only on the ailerons? Work in Progress, or a problem with the template?
I'll go dig out my photos now and scan a couple for you. Busy packing at the moment. Museum of flight for me tomorrow!!! smile.gif

One wheeled landing on order! I might be confused with another Cub, but I'm sure BKJ had fresh ceconite covering on the wings just prior to me joining the club but the ailerons were left as-is unsure.gif
Feel free to bring on those pics when you're free - This repaint was done using only the pic taken in Waharoa and my memory since all of my pics were on 35mm film and have been lost in my numerous moves sad.gif

Will do with the photos. I'll be home in a couple of days. Sitting in Portland at the moment. Did Museum of Flight in Seattle on Friday and going to see Spruce Goose tomorrow before driving home on Tuesday.

Ok, I finally got off my rump and scanned a couple of photos for you. I'm back to work in Kazakhstan tomorrow, so it was either now or never!
Frank Wright was exporting some Cubs to the US so we got all the Cubs on the field together for some photos. Trish Stephens and I went up in the Marine Jetranger and took some photos.
Apart from the stripes disappearing due to the recover, the only other difference is the greenhouse. BKJ has the full length greenhouse, whereas most Cubs don't.

Edit. Regos are from the left on the shot taken on the ground: BKJ, BJG, BKS (After a repaint from Tauranga gliding Club colours), BPI (now TOW), BTL, BYV (both had been banner towing in Auckland, hence lack of cowlings), BKA, and SHG
