Sure is smile.gif Can do pretty much everything you'd need to do for Flightsim stuff (and can open and save photoshop .psd documents as well)

The addition of the water and aircraft reflection is different. How, exactly did you do that?

1-selected the area i wanted reflected.

2-pasted this onto a new layer called R1

3-vertically flipped it and adjusted position

4-Aplied the following effect to a new, blank layer called R2 (http://www.graphics-muse.org/artistsguide/?page_id=199)

5- Adjusted opacity till you could see the pattern and the picture, and move center of ripple to center of what will be the reflection on R1. Crop R2 to the size of the image on R1 ticking the current layer only in the toolbar.

6-duplicate the layer R1. Call R3.

7-Apply the waves effect from the website using amplitude of 9 phase of 70 and wavelength of 50.

8-Adjusted the opacity of R2 to 11 and R3 to 61 .Merged R2 and R3 down onto R1.

9 -adjusted the perspective and position.

10 -adjusted opacity of R1 and crop(remember to uncheck current layer only)

hope this helps

First impression - fantastic. Don't use GIMP but PSE. Am sure the process can be transcribed.
