Nice shot. I was actually in Nome and Anchorage last week. Heaps of float planes parked on the lake next to Anchorage airport.

Actually it graphically illustrates what I dislike most about FSX. The models have that shiny plastic airfix kit look about them as well as most screen shots don't have shadows enabled which makes the composition just wrong.

Subject matter is great Olderndirt.

Matey , ya grab some off the great packages out there , A2A B-17 or the Aerosoft Cat you would be as happy as Larry .. Airfix was the tops in the day and your right ... with oversized rivets - today looks like they have picked there game up . smile.gif

Comments noted. This is an "HD" texture of the G21 by Ozx, a little shinier than usual and, in my fervor to create as pristine an image as possible, it does appear a bit too sharp against that photo background - too obviously a composite. Back to the drawing board cool.gif .

Don't get me wrong.... a top effort there. I just have this thing about FSX.......it will pass smile.gif

You have a valid point - this business of superimposing a cartoon-like image on a real photograph takes some skill and I'm working on it smile.gif .
