I like it AJ , had one off the jetstar pilots go through the FMC with me today,( Had to unload the plane , Some DICK didn't make it and their bags had to be offloaded.)
He showed me a few things , was generally interested in what I asked, he was amazed I knew the cockpit layout LOL, asked me how I knew , told him and he was blown away by what FSX could do , he thought it was just a game .

As simplistic as it seems sitting at home going through procedure , Brendan .. you 'nailed it' and again I had the very same question put to me and to follow up a 737/767 now moved on to Arbust can understand that he,s a ANZ check pilot ... hang on also DC-3 and Devon and ... later , for any budding real world pilot , repeat training .. get to seriously understand how the systems work , Its as real as it can get !

We have had many pilots , ATC guys , airforce , private pilots , Helicopter pilots , pilots off Old and with history and mentioned the how the hell do you no that type of guy yet to buy them self a PC and put there hometown on to it , we are all still working on that smile.gif
