A long time ago, I was in downtown Denver as my mother's shopping chaufeur. Lo and behold, there sat Gregory "Pappy" Boyington signing copies of his newly published 'Baa baa Blacksheep'. I have the signed copy to this day.

One off the most colourful characters from the Pacific air war , good friend got a copy of his book , Davids father was a high up in Hong Kong and met him , heck's that gos back to pre 1985 .

This was '54 or '55. He was in Denver helping his son get settled in the new Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs. As a Medal of Honor recipient, his offspring was automatically offered entrance to one of the three military academies.
