Rendered the original picture with aircraft in terragen (took 2 and a bit hours) ( after i did a bit editing on the model in poseray - moving the pilot up and detaching the tail)




Then chucked the image in gimp, decreased the saturation on the groundcover and added smoke, fire and bullet holes to the aircraft

I doubt somehow that Spit driver would be in any condition to climb out given the strike point of a couple of those 30mm shells!
