Hmmmm? I'm not too sure what to make of flight. If they did a New Zealand I might consider it, but for now fsx.gif fsx.gif fsx.gif

Not that I can see, they look much the same as FSX trees

In the beta it did. I had to fly low and slow to see them swaying.

I would really recommend just going for a 'free flight' and taking some time to explore and 'get' what Flight is- What I am really loving about Flight is the 'low and slow' stuff, the mesh is really nice, the objects sit on it well, the lighting is great, the flight model is far more realistic and smooth....clearly it's not FS10 (i.e. hardcore systems modelling etc), but in terms of fun flying and exploring, I think it's really good!

I did a flight to see if I could get to the observatories at the top of the big Island in the Stearman......leaned right out, prop was pretty coarse and I was really running out of juice at 13 000 ish feet.

I haven't cranked the settings right up yet, this is just on the medium preset....and yeah, it looks better on screen (mostly because it is so smooth compared to FSX)

(edit, ignore the VectorLandClass text haha! Its just the process I use in photoshop)

Yeah good call Timmo. To be honest during the Beta I lost interest very quick and after a few visits pretty much went off the boil. Multiplay however is something that could be quite fun in the low-n-slow machines

Timmo's right.....look at it for what it is.
I knocked it from the start (as i tend to do ,going off half cocked with only a 1/4 of the information) .....but , if i dont like it ....i dont have to use it ....easy.
Its aimed at a specific market, and it will do well there I'm sure....its just not for me, and i apologise for being so arrogant. Each to his own.

Had a company other than Microsoft developed this, it's arrival would probably receive a more enthusiastic welcome.
