Now I have done FXE and FWZ and will soon be uploading the latter. I now have a whole list of Islander paints to do, one being an NAC paint I found today and another is ZK-EVO. This is both Islanders over Foveaux Straight.

Thats Great! NZFSIM is where I source all my repaints so it's good to know one of mine is up there. I have had another fiddle with the alpha channels on it and am going to upload a fix later on aswell as ZK-FWZ which is more or less the same as FXE.

I'm glad you mentioned the alpha channels. I was going to mention it, but wasn't too sure about posting a negative comment winkyy.gif

Considering how wonderfully grubby the underside is (I'm sure that's real!) ... I was amazed at how much polish the ground crew used! From my initial dabblings, I've found around 94% (ie. almost white) to be sort of OK ... with the usual matt areas set to 100%. The other thing I sometimes try, is to boost up the reflectivity on particularly dark areas - like the blue part of an RAF roundel. It seems to just need that extra "tickle".

I love those Islanders ... don't ask me why!

Don't worry about being negative tongue.gif Its all part of learning, and as I am only getting into this repainting stuff I really love feedback (Good & Bad)
I have only just really started working with Alphas, and have already fixed FXE so I'll package and upload it later tonight, aswell as FWZ. I love the islander also, theres just something about these wokhorse types like the islander and the C208B that I really like.

Hmmm, that looks nice. Wasn't WNZ cancelled and scrapped a few years back? Nevertheless a nice straight forward looking paint. Its now on my list. Cheers Doug

Whale watch? Arrrgh! We'll have Splitpin moaning about *them*. I think he has a B-52 set aside with a "Greenie Watch" logo on it laugh.gif

Nice looking paint job though. Go for it, LF thumbup1.gif
