Cheers ....its a lighting effect in PS (filter/render / lighting effects/2o'clock spotlight) select a colour , and then i back it off a bit. I thought that shot was a little too blue / green...but it suited the time of day , weather etc.

Damn! You just took all the romance out of it! Here's me thinking it was something to do with the current solar flare - and "The Northern Lights" suddenly appearing over Christchurch.
