Yep, nice one Marty. I'm sure that played out a few times back in the day. Wonder how often it came close to letting one of those rockets rip?

That screen appears in so many of my books here , now i wonder if i could find that very aircraft , the back cover 'History of the RAF' has XR753 and a different squadron .

Nice! A very well done recreation of a Cold War sight! (Though recently, we've been seeing a resurgence of this sort of image opportunity...still a Tu-95 or Tu-142 in the background, but with a Typhoon or F-15 in the foreground!)

Thanks team, i used that little formation tool to get this. Its the best of a bunch ...... have to practice more.
