October Contest Rejects

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Great fun, as usual, sorting out the pick of the crop.

This is Dave Garwood's *excellent* freeware Beaufighter and nearly made it to the ball ...

Not a brilliant composition, but I love the colours:

One of my most graphic memories is my "arrival" flight into Auckland when I emigrated to NZ. It flew down almost the full length of the West Coast - and I could pick out Bethell's Beach and Piha. NZNI tries hard, but somehow that memory will always be more vivid:

A daytime version of the Bae146 entry:

These are the ones I remember seeing in the preview. Some real good screenshots in this group.

Thanks for the nice comments, folks. I must admit I was surprised at how photogenic the Beaufighter turned out to be. Well worth a download.

Thank your, Sir ... and here are a few more recent ones ... just messing with REX ...

Sometimes (if you have live weather enabled), FSX/REX just throws something random and amazing at you. I just turn the autopilot on and jump into the viewfinder.

Just noticed the (excellent) BN-2 Islander is currently on sale: Flight Sim deal of the Day.

Typical ... with the high winds we're currently having [today] in AKL, my clouds have all but blown away!

Nice Screens , keeps proving the goodness of the program ... One REX cannot do is reproduce the famous Canterbury North Wester , the arch in the sky and even to have the cold Southerly change and storm front that is a regular during this and the summer seasons .
