First... it was only a idea, to fly a little bit around in the outer Hebrides. But with real weather it was not "a game", it was really a job. The conditions on this flight from 1 hour are rain, windy, clouds that reaged the mother earth... Yes. not simple flying.

This is DX 9c, because, I have no screen capture-tool, that worked correct with DX 10. I work with "Snapper." Any hint in this case is welcome.

These boys flew in some horrid weather , i have photos here showing a rescue with hi-seas , a fishing boat in trouble i'll dig em out and scan , really suit your posting , Great Screens

Yes, those Navy Boys flying in conditions, no other want to do. What I have not understood is the fact, that Navy and the Royal Air Force have their own SAR-Organisations and I have no idea, how this worked.
And in New Zealand? How is the SAR organized and how can I find informations about it? I see, that the Navy have some Kaman Sea Sprite... and is there more?

Very limited rescue to note by the RNZAF/Navy Sea Sprites , many are by the donation sponsored WestpacTrust Rescue and it appears to me at least large per cent of the crew are ex-RAF , (Guessing) but then just the typical private or company helicopter legends in New Zealand , of hand can't recall their names , an example of the type of person is Sir Tim Wallis and his merry band of pilots , there are so many .

Note... this is DX 9c ... think if I have some time I want to do the same flight with DX 10... looking for the special effekts of DX 10. My old Snapper cant capture DX-10-images. Going to fraps...
