I think this is were FS9 with all the addon's really dose come into its own on today's PCs , some of the Classics come from Charl which just simply show need don't need to chase FSX sim because there is so much out there ... FSX dose have its great points and moments , but screens like that prove the Ole Niner is still cooking .

Very True Ian , I just wish Developers were still making good add on scenery for FS9 especially in NZ/Pacific/Aussie areas ,in some respects FS9 was replaced quite quickly with IMO an inferior Sim , I have messed around with FSX but I keep coming back to FS9 for its smoothness and less hassle ..... cant teach this semi old dog new tricks ! ..lol biggrin.gif

Old Dog , strange , i have re-installed the FS9 not only to see how it worked on a lessor but today's machine .. i can see not so much the novelty but if you have all the payware to go with .. bloody silly to change BUT .. FS9 dose miss out on the moving carrier and the war stuff . ...... each sim has its good and bad points regards to scenery and developers .

I thought you would be talking about FSX!
Great shots, and yes FS9 is very much with us.
Especially... especially! with what Hiroshi has just produced.
Let's bring it to NZWN since we are there (eyew, look at the weather!)

There we go shorty-pants biggrin.gif , the FS9 man has spoken and a great screen to boot ! cool.gif , think about it FS9/FS2004 has been out now eleven years and its still holding its own ... now it would be interesting to put the current hi-res FSX photo Christchurch base into that program .. be nice to figure the autogen and reverse that , the ole FS airports are abound and ready to plop in ... idea.gif

Be a hell of a challendge reversing .. brakes and stop lights to add to the mix , but FSX Christchurch and airports still has a lotta time involved in build and even to get started since the airport has changed so much in the last ten years .

Nice shots guys. I think it's fair to say that I enjoy FS2004 as much as I did all those years ago? It's like having more than one child in a family. It's not like you love the new baby more than the one that came before it? I love FS2004 and FSX just the same biggrin.gif
I have downloaded that 787 tonight Charl. Love the model so far! Looks great. Will work on getting a panel and some sounds over the weekend and then start tweaking her to fly a bit better. Too powerful (imo) as released. But, will have a tinker under the hood in coming weeks. Stunning model, I'm gonna love flying it!
