
Flying the Carenado 152 from Fredericton, New Brunswick to Saint John, New Brunswick (Canada) in real weather and this wall of clouds appeared ahead. I filed a pop-up IFR clearance and proceeded in to the airport uneventufully.
The addon itself took a bit of work to "get right"...needed some aircraft.cfg performance edits to make it fly by the POH numbers, as well as some avionics bug fixes (attitude indicator fix to match the aircraft's actual attitude, turn/slip fix to remove the "off" flag when avionics power is on, and VOR indicator fix to change the incorrect heading numbering on the gauge's bitmap) courtesy of someone at Avsim and at Carenado.
Works wonderfully now though, and it's a fantastic instrument flight challenge as what you see is what you get. ADF, VOR with only LOC capability, and the basic six pack of instruments....and that's it!
