funnily enough, Rottnest was derived from the Dutch 'Rattennest', meaning Rat's nest, which referred to the quokka's, little kangaroos, living on the island...

I remember Bookham well, but they never caught me there, or anywhere else either.. Not too far away was the town of Cullerin, and as we crossed the Cullerin Range we used to tell unsuspecting passengers to look out for the book factory. They couldn't find it of course, and eventually asked what sort of books it made...at which point we delightedly told them "Colour-in books, of course..."
We made our own fun in them days laugh.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
