It (DC-8) really is a beautiful aircraft .... right up there with the 707 and Comet ..imo.

Marty, you recall the metallic silver model that come from the 'Weetbix' cereal around the period the DC-8 was released , i still remember my first year at Avonhead Primary school - they had three of them in the play box .... nothing wrong with my memory here , now i wonder how many recall that superb little model !
