The first pic shows arrival at the fjord from the south, - notice the town lights courtesy of OrbX Global and the runway down on the right. Some people have had problems with these lights but for me they work fine and look great. It all looks a bit dark because it's winter and it's Iceland, so it's dark most of the time.

The next one shows my approach, having turned round in the mouth of the fjord. Notice the high quality of the default aircraft models, - this is the Carenado Bonanza. I love it because it's easy to fly and has an idiotproof autopilot.

Finally, my rather wobbly flare, having turned the requisite twenty degrees from the approach. Notice the runway lights, - not sure if FSX has these since I haven't used it since getting P3D2. Also, the landing light illuminates the runway. The good people of Isafjord have by this time turned off their lights, no doubt to better observe the spectacle of my landing.

The rest of the landing was uneventful other than the runway excursion and loss of the left main gear which I put down to Loss of Spatial Awareness due to Distraction at Critical Phase of Flight caused by Unintuitive Screen Capture Software.
