Nice NZ paint on the Flight1 PC12.

Climbing out from Omaka - planning 8500.


Looks like Mt Travers off to the left - still tracking outbound from the Blenheim VOR.


Had been hoping for a sideways point at the Westport NDB or a crossing radial from their VOR but the ether was silent.


Lake Brunner, smack dab on course.


Hokitika and its river of the same name. Neither of these navaids was receivable either


A fine way to spend an afternoon.

Lake Brunner, great little tavern there Dave, one off my first trips staying for the weekend, car packed full, six off us - Mike the driver going to his parents batch we were staying at for that longish weekend ... said he knew the road like the back off his Hannnnnnnd CRUNCH ! rolleyes.gif Yep we were flying sorta like the 'Dukes of Hazard county" laugh.gif
