The above screenshot of Aoraki/Mt. Cook was just sent to me by the author of FS Evolution (a set of new FS9 textures). Not half shabby; just goes to prove there's still life in FS9.

One thing many should look into, some peoples machines simply cannot handle or show or display FSX properly.

Tinkering with FS9 is a bit like tinkering with a '70s small-block Chevy motor.
Plenty of horsepower in there, and not too hard to get at.
And you can do a lotta stuff to it, no VAS and OOMs and BURP.

Sascha is amazing - he just plugs away and makes the sim look better and better.
One day he will be finished, and it will be perfect.
