Only six years after the Wright Brothers and we're well on our way to a genuine bush aircraft. Note the large tundra type wheels and the propeller arc high enough to not pick up rocks. With no fuselage fabric, repairs were minimized and faulty structural wires were easy to spot. Could have used a little more power - a mere 20 hp for the first one but it flew.

I was sorta thinking this is something you can build in your .... hang on , might rip out to Rick's back yard --- test flying tho could be interesting , practically in the flight-line off runway 02 .. butttt thinking, think of the head turns .. both pilots and passengers , that would be funny biggrin.gif

A real back-yard build , one thing Dave pointed out , not the time (year) the power plant off the 'La demoiselle' .. again Dave mentioned the Wright Bros .. amazing to find their engine built by Charlie Taylor , 7 or so HP required and that guy produced almost double and the first aluminum cast aircraft engine.
