So, I installed AI Carriers, and lots of goodies from Flying Stations.
Thought I was going well, but it was too fast and I bounced clean over the net ohmy.gif laugh.gif

Mike cool.gif , nothing like the practice but more fun in MP .. the Swordfish, idea trainer for the first time starters tho we can't get the the Vic operational in a MP, least must be able to be done as other are working on drivable carriers with hard decks and arrestor gear.

I am still a beginner on this, but I found it easier if carrier was moving, relative speed between aircraft and deck is a lot lower... just my 2c worth

With this AI package the carrier should be moving unless you are using AItraffic2.

Once you select the fleet you want, the next time you open the menu you get commands for controlling the ship, including 'Stop'

I'm surprised you don't have a wake hence giving it the feel its stationary , also the radio booms and aerials are still raised .

Think those issues are covered in the Flying Stations forum. I haven't got AIC to launch with FSX, but it doesn't seem to launch manually if you used full screen earlier...yahufti start up and shut down again in windowed mode, and then it should behave...

Ahh the good old days when your carrier was a bigger threat to your plane than the enemy tongue.gif
