Great little screens, funny to think it was a contender for a USAF trainer .

It certainly looks the part though a bit underpowered. I've re.cfg'd it to 235 hp with a CS prop and added to the rudder - poops right along.

From what I read, no need for the ZK - does this apply to both commercial and general aviation?

Your quite right there Dave, went to ZK in 1929, they did have a ZM- code in they days and in 1974 they had a ZL-xxx not used yet.

Great shots. The Swift is such a nice looking bird... bit like a mini Spitfire.

The "ZK" is not needed on aircraft that don't venture beyond our shores, which wouldn't happen if you were a Cessna 150 or similar
