"IF" .... this helps .... and I'm not sure that it will .... :)

We/at HJG ....haven't .... yet .... figured out how to incorporate all of the extra sensory perceptions into our simulations.

What I mean is ....

We've currently got sight, sound, and feel all "very convincingly represented" .... its just the smell/s (for the solvent sniffers here/the smell of burning jet fuel in particular) that we haven't, yet, figured out how to do .... BUT .... I'd just like to assure everyone that "we are working on it" :) ;) :D

Tell ya what you do, and you can post this on International forums, If you have feed your family with the large can of Baked Beans , has to be the large one because the standard may get knocked over , you don't want that .. Health and Safety sorta thing .. put a rag in the tin half way up then half fill the can with kerosene, get fan out put a few feet away from the can and have it running low then fire a match to the can of kero for ten minutes ... Done ... your back at the airport ! ;)

Don't think the insurance company would be too enthusiastic about that proposition though Ian :D

ANYWAY ....

Trust those interested i these simulations are now aware the HJG BAe 146-300 and -300QT AP issue (the constant and uncommanded roll during AP controlled flight affecting just these 2 simulations only) is now "FIXED" .... with new aircraft base pack files currently downloadable from HJG .as per my statement of a couple of postings back .... and that each of the ARJ/BAe aircraft base pack FDE's have now (as of yesterday) been further fine tuned despite the fact these other 10 files did not exhibit any issues.

Enjoy folks ;)

I say both the insurance and your local GP and the others who sniff things out.

For those whom might be interested .... HJG have applied yet another update/improvement to its ARJ/BAe project.

"THANKS" to the continued efforts of Paul HAAK .... HJG have successfully applied tail logo lighting effects (which were previously lacking) to each of its BAe 146-100, -200, and RJ-70, and -85 models .... to those subjects among these simulations which require this particular feature at least since "not all of them" do .... and as is demonstrated below ....

BAe 146-100 QT

BAe 146-200

The HJG BAe 146-300 and -300 QT models/textures already had this feature so required no such editing at all ....

The ARJ series models have also benefit from these tail logo night lighting effects too .... although the RJ-100 (like the BAe 146-300) aready supported this feature ....

The following military freighter/transporter aircraft versions "do not" require tail logo night lighting effects though, so, don't support this particular feature at all ....

Further information regarding these improvements may be reviewed within the following HJG website announcement of today ....

Thanks Mark, it is quite amazing simply just how detailed the aircraft are today, from the days when FS98 come out and the first dynamic 3 Dimensional models started to appear, PO Sky was one of the first I believe , only guessing ... really have come a long Long way.

On that particular note Ian .... I remember my very first flight simulation :-

AIRBUS A320 .... compiled by Rainer BOPF in association with THALION SOFTWARE.

That was way back in 1992 .... and as bad/basic as it looks now .... it was "top knotch" and "pretty advanced" stuff for its time ....

.... in fact it was probably one of the very first simulationms that allowed one to navigate per real world ER charts.

Marketed as "a true simulation" (mostly because of it's flight planning features and navigational integrity) .... we all thought "WOW" at the time.

I had both the European and US editions of this particular program .... and during the very early 1990's "flew the crap out of it" on my old (first ever) AMIGA 500 computer, but, it taught me how to navigate .... and .... as bad/basic as the program graphics are/look by todays standards, the Jeppesen ER and airport and approach charts that accompanied this program (being outdated real world facsimilies) are still more than 100% useable in FS2004 and FSX today.

BUT .... where FS in concerned (and as applies to everything else too) technology is something will always continue advancing .... and which is just the way it "IS" ;)

This looks awesome, will have to go download it..
Are there any plans for the delivery paint scheme of the 200QC that Ansett operated, which i believe was the QC demonstrator, i have a couple of pics somewhere of it with the big orange QC logo on the tail

Theres' actually 3 variations livery that would need to be painted for the -200 QC operated by ANSETT NEW ZEALAND .... ZK-NZC (formerly G-BPBT) .... if ithat aircraft was to be represented authentically by HJG .... as follows ....

1. BRITISH AEROSPACE "QC Demonstrator"/Interim ANSETT NEW ZEALAND livery ....
Image

Image

2. First definitive ANSETT NEW ZEALAND livery (image not -NZC but it did support this particular scheme) ....
Image

3. Final definitive ANSETT NEW ZEALAND livery .... NZC was (so far as I'm aware) the only -200 dto support this final livery ....

I do hope to eventually get ANSETT NEW ZEALAND liveries for the BAe 146-200 (in both PAX and freighter forms) uploaded, but, this will likely happen later rather than sooer :( :)
