Faleolo International Airport, Samoa (NSFA) - Asau Airport (NSAU)

This is a flight, in reality no longer exist. Air Samoa has no longer any Britten Norman "Islander" in its inventory. They are replaced by 3 DHC-6-300 "Twin Otter". And they have a Boeing 737-800 to. The airfield of Asau is in the middle of the dschungel near the coast of the island of Savai'i, The Mt. Silisili (1858 m) is on the left and it is not possible to fly direct but "around the Island" to reach Asau. In 2003 this tiny "airport" was nearly destroyed by a Zyklon, 2006 they have done some maintenance but the real state of Ausau Airfield is unclear for me.
The scenery is from ORBX and the aircraft is the "Islander" made by Virtavia for flight1.com. Note, this aircraft is for FSX only.

Thank You. It is another of the short "after work flights". I like this more than long trips with Jets.
